| Plants, Seeds, More! |
A few photos of the rather large Siberian ginseng bush in my backyard. The plant is not in the Panax genus and is also known as eleuthero. I purchased it from Richters as a small plant. It is quite happy in partial shade. I have not been able to germinate any seeds yet, but it may take a few years. Maybe some passed through the birds and will sprout in other parts of the neighborhood, but people might not recognize it and may declare it a weed.
The root is used medicinally, but it is my only plant and I do not wish to destroy it for the root. I am researching the use of the leaves and berries. If you have any knowledge, please pass it along.
