I have had a number of requests to help identify mushrooms. I will gladly look at your photos and give you an opinion if I have a good idea what the mushroom is. However, not only am I cautious about identifying 3-dimensional fungi from 2-dimensional photographs, but I refuse to take responsibility for your consumption of said mushrooms. Please photograph the gills or pores also and tell me the location, habitat and weather conditions the week the mushroom was photographed.
